About Clark's Wax Works and Beewax Candles
Clark began raising bees as a hobby in 1985 not knowing anything about bees other than he’s always had a healthy respect for them. Soon the hobby started to grow and before he knew it, he quit his real job to sell the honey in local health food stores. Then there was the question of, “What am I going to do with all this beeswax?” The answer was made clear when people asked if he could also supply them with pure and natural beeswax candles.
Hundreds of Hives - Millions of Bees - Tons of Beeswax
Still today Clark has his own bee farm with two thousand bee colonies and produces his own honey and beeswax. Few beeswax candle makers can match that! He monitors and controls the by-product to assure the highest quality standards. His candles are handmade, not dipped nor rolled, and each candle is thoroughly examined before it leaves production. No cookie-cutter process here! Clark also produces bricks of beeswax (raw wax) used as an ingredient in making mild soaps, lotions, and cosmetics.
Clarks Honey Farm in Rural Colorado
Clark’s Wax Works is located in rural Colorado where clover and wildflowers abound. Millions of bees are busy — right now — making more pure honey and beeswax for Clark's candles.
Pure Colorado Honey at Fine Health Food Stores
Clark’s Honey Farm produces some of the purest honey found in the western U.S. and because he’s a beekeeper, he knows the origin and quality of his honey – he works with the bees everyday to make sure they’re healthy, active and content.
